The ChrisNik Pipe Mike II makes measurements more accurate because you are measuring with a vertically plumb rod. not provided. The new round foot design slices through material at the bottom of the pipe and insures accurate invert & pipe diameter measurements. When the pulling the pm. you can go from zero to one foot vertical offset for clearance under rod. Only 2 pounds or 1 kg. The 24″ measuring arm can be extended to 36″ by adding a 1 foot extension (sold separately).
